Greek Routes E-Services is a licensed travel agency, authorized by the Greek Ministry of Tourism. Our services are provided in accordance with Greek and European Union travel regulations. By booking with Greek Routes, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Bookings & Acknowledgment
By completing a reservation through our website or any official channel, you accept all terms and conditions stated herein. You are responsible for providing accurate information during the booking process.
Currency & Payment
- All transactions are processed in Euro (EUR).
- Secure payment methods are available via credit/debit card and bank transfer.
- All payments are processed through secure, encrypted platforms.

- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro)
- Bank transfer
- Cash (upon agreement)
- No booking is considered confirmed without a deposit or full payment as indicated during the reservation process.
Tour Services
- All tours provided by Greek Routes are private and tailored to the client’s needs.
- Greek Routes reserves the right to adjust itineraries due to weather, traffic, safety, or operational conditions.
- Prices include local taxes, VAT, tolls, and baggage handling (one standard bag per person).
- Prices do not include entrance fees, personal expenses, food or drinks unless explicitly stated.
Vehicles & Transfers
- All vehicles are modern, fully insured, non-smoking, and air-conditioned (Sedans, Minivans, Minibuses).
- Transfers between 23:00 – 05:30 are subject to a 25% night surcharge.
- If excess luggage or special equipment is carried (e.g. bikes, strollers), it must be declared in advance. Extra charges may apply.
Tour Drivers
- Drivers are professional and operate under legal time limits.
- Drivers are not licensed guides and cannot escort you into archaeological sites or museums.
- If you wish to have a licensed guide, this can be arranged upon request for an additional fee.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all vehicles.
Child Safety
- Child seats can be provided upon request and subject to availability.
- It is the client’s responsibility to inform us of the age and height of children during booking.
Mobility & Accessibility
- Passengers with reduced mobility or using wheelchairs must notify us during booking.
- We will make every effort to provide suitable vehicles, but availability is not guaranteed without prior notice.
Clothing Guidelines
When visiting religious sites (e.g., churches and monasteries), modest attire is required: long trousers for men and long skirts for women.
Cancellations & Refunds
All cancellations must be submitted in writing and will be confirmed via email.
Day Tours
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour date: 100% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before: non-refundable.
Multi-Day Tours / Tours with Accommodation or Licensed Guides
- Cancellations made at least 7 days before the tour date: 100% refund.
- Third-party services such as hotels or licensed guides may apply their own cancellation fees.
Exceptional Circumstances
In cases such as flight or cruise delays, strikes, extreme weather, or technical issues beyond the client’s control, a 100% refund will be granted upon provision of proof.
Other Notes
- For cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the service date, third-party payment processors (e.g., banks or credit cards) may deduct a non-refundable fee (2–4%).
- Greek Routes reserves the right to cancel any booking due to unforeseen circumstances. A full refund will be issued in such cases.
Responsibility & Liability
Greek Routes acts as an intermediary for selected third-party providers such as accommodation, transportation, and licensed guides. We are not liable for:
- Delays, changes, or cancellations due to strikes, weather, accidents, or force majeure.
- Lost or forgotten personal items.
- Expenses due to insufficient documentation (e.g. passports, visas).
- Behavior of passengers during transfers. Misconduct may lead to termination of the service without refund.
Complaints
Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of your return. Greek Routes will respond within 28 days after thorough investigation.
Data Protection
Your personal information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Some necessary data may be shared with partners (e.g., hotels, guides, payment providers) for the purpose of delivering your travel service. For more, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
